I have over 35 years of experience in the industry, playing drums, doing live sound, and being on both sides of the studio glass. Atlantic Records engineer Sami Uckan, opened the door to his studio, and thoughts. Shortly after that K-Sound Studios
built the first building which ended up as our live room,to practice my drums. However, my sons, Keith and Colin picked up playing fast and quickly passed my ability to teach them much anymore myself! Well, I couldn't keep up with the ever rising level of thier songwriting and precise playing, It was time for me to now be taught by them, what a great feeling. I knew they must be recorded and we spent years with so many good bands and players they were with. Without doubt the most wonderful years of my life.
These were magic times, as I watched young musicians saw off 15 finished songs in a weekend, and another ten the next weekend. This is true! Now they have international fans with Helios and others musicians and writers they work with.
This studio is dedicated to them, and for thier music.People feel this magic when they enter, and the urge to play and write songs, and yep, laughter, and killer sound in the process.
We have now opened the door to treat musicians with great recordings, as well as production, management, and publishing. K-Sound does truly offer you options that are real.
